Sick of Being Sick

I'm sick. I seem to have come down with the cold from Hell. Sunday I was fine; yesterday I woke up and it felt like someone put an icepick through my sinus cavity. Are drugs working--nope. Yesterday I managed to get Little Diva to and from school, cook lunch and dinner, and that's it. I went to bed at 7:30 last night--about 15 minutes after darling husband got home from work.

I really hate getting sick. I don't have time to get sick. Today is a little better because I can actually move around without getting too dizzy, so hopefully it's one of those quick in and out illnesses.

I really need to write today, so I've decided that my main character is going to become ill as well--after all, why should I suffer through this alone :)

So onto things to do:
1.) Write 3000 words.
2.) Complete the front of Little Rage's sweater.
3.) Finish gridding Storykeeper.
4.) Get better ASAP!!!

Have a great day and take some vitamin C so the nasty cold germ doesn't find you.
aloha :)

Check out this quiz!! Captain Jack Sparrow--very cool!

You're Captain Jack Sparrow: smart, savvy, a demon with the eyeliner and the best damn pirate we've ever seen. And only a little crazy. Savvy?

Which POTC character are you?

I *love* that you're going to make your main character sick. LOL

Get yourself well soon!

so sorry you're sick! I was wondering where you were tonight. And, um, how come your list of things to do when you're feeling like crap is more ambitious than my to do list when I'm well?

Cyn--I'm not sure but I think it's a "mom" thing. Like it or not when you have kiddos 99.9% the burden falls on Mom to get things done, whether she is sick or not. On Monday when I didn't even feel like moving I still had to get Little Diva to school and cook meals. Yesterday, I felt a little better and figured I'd start hacking a way at my normal household "to do" list as well as my personal one that I posted here. It's the curse of mommyhood I think :)

I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well. And I hear you about the "sick mom" thing. Moms can be running a 104 fever, be delirious and vomiting around the clock, and they STILL manage to do all the cooking, cleaning and child-rearing that needs to get done. I hope you're feeling better soon. Take good care of yourself!
