Miscellania

1. Congratulations to my Pittsburgh Penguins for winning the Eastern Conference Championship. Now it's time to take care of the Red Wings! It's a rematch of last year's Stanley Cup final and it's going to be something to watch.

2. Diva "graduated" from 3rd grade yesterday and wanted to go to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I had never been there before and, oh boy, was it good. She also got a Build a Bear Lab.

3. They are now both off for the summer and I have no idea how I'm going to keep them busy over the next 2.5 months while still allowing myself some "mommy" time.

1) yes, I certainly hope it is a rematch of last years championship. I liked the end result. GO WINGS!

2) congrats to Lil (did we drop the Little?) Diva! (and how have you never been to cheescake?)

3) Camps. lots of 'em. Sleepover camps, if you can find them. :)

Memory Lane

 Came back…looking through old posts.  There are many times when I really miss blogging. Life has been super busy.  Work, family…pretty stressful. I still have delusions of grandeur that I will find time to get back to the things I love to do unfortunately for the last few years it has been a lot of HAVE to do versus WANT to do.

Stashalong--Sign ups end Jan.1

Sign ups have ended. EDIT: Sign ups end January 1 at 5pm Mountain time. Anyone interested in using some of your stash in order to make room for some new spring stuff? Join me in a very informal knitalong. Here are the rules: (1) Must start and try to finish something from your stash yarn(I say "try" to finish because if you pick something huge like an afghan or sweater finishing in three months may not be realistic). (2) You have 3 months and during that time you cannot add to your stash in any way(things ordered before January 1 but not yet delivered do not count--hence the early warning--get it out of your systems, ladies). Of course realistically there is no way to police this, so the honor system is in place. (3) I am beginning on January 1, 2006 and ending March 31, 2006(if there is interest, I'd be glad to start another one after that).
