Where to begin?

Well, I'm not exactly sure how one starts a blog. Most of the ones that I read and enjoy are very well established.

I'm actually doing this as a way to show my friends and family my progress on my knitting. Also, I think I'll enjoy looking back and seeing how projects develop.

I'll probably begin serious blogging when I start my first Dale of Norway sweater. I'm starting with the Albertville pattern and I should be beginning in April.

Stashalong--Sign ups end Jan.1

Sign ups have ended. EDIT: Sign ups end January 1 at 5pm Mountain time. Anyone interested in using some of your stash in order to make room for some new spring stuff? Join me in a very informal knitalong. Here are the rules: (1) Must start and try to finish something from your stash yarn(I say "try" to finish because if you pick something huge like an afghan or sweater finishing in three months may not be realistic).
