I got Magic Witch back from framing on Tuesday. I broke down and had her put under museum quality glass--I normally don't put my pieces under glass when I have them framed. And in case you are wondering, yes I did have them put in spacers so the piece doesn't touch the glass. She's lovely sitting on my mantle.
I'm finishing up the gridding on my new start--not telling what it is though--you'll have to keep an eye out for it's first appearance in December.

Gorgeous stitchery!! I gave up cross-stitching years ago after realizing my patience was a bit too thin for it. I admire anyone who can finish projects like yours. In fact, my favorite wedding gift was a sampler cross-stitched for us by a close friend. Hmm... I think I should photograph that and blog about it. ;)

Congrats on getting it framed! It looks great.
She looks amazing! Congratulations. Is your new start a HAED?
Fabulous! If you ever come back to Utah for a visit, Ms. Twin, we'll definitely have to get together. ;)
Great framing job! She looks fantastic! :)
She looks beautiful! I love the frame and the stand. I am dying to start a HAED after watching your progress on this one!
Wow!! It looks amazing. Great job.
I love it, Kim! The frame looks wonderful with it. I'm sure there's a sense of accomplishment you get every time you see it.
Congratulations! She is gorgeous.
She's fabulous, Kim! I love the frame and stand you chose for her, too. Congratulations. :-)
She came out great! I received a Santa Claus needlepoint kit from a friend that I am going to give a try, hopefully it will come out half as nice as your witch!
Great work!
Amanda :)
Congrats.
How many different colours were there in this cross stitch? I was thinking of buying it but I am wondering how much it will cost.
Thanks
ejay--I don't have your email so hopefully you'll come back and read this. Magic Witch is 90 colors.
